UBER App can’t find my location?
Your phone’s GPS may not always be able to pinpoint your exact location. If you’re indoors, your phone may have trouble establishing a good connection to the satellite(s) responsible for letting it find your location.
The pin displayed in your Uber app tells your driver where to pick you up. By moving the map on the Uber app you can recenter the pin so that it accurately reflects your location. On the latest version of the app, you can also click ‘Pickup Location’ and manually enter and search for your address.

NOTE: Sometimes the actual tagging of the map is incorrect making search results unreliable at times. We recommend you add your frequent pick up points in your profile under “Home” or “Work”. Sometimes we also just tag the nearest landmark in our destination and wait for the Uber ride there.
I am trying to open the UBER app as I have just installed it but it says location cannot be determined even though I have my GPS on. This happens right when I am trying to sign. I tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it to see if that would help but it hasn’t. I also tried turning the wifi on and off and that didn’t seem to help at all either.
Is this as a rider or a partner? Just turn on your GPS

Last 2 days mobile site won’t set my pickup location – just keeps spinning
My über app, has a black ring around the green drop down pin. It doesn’t say set pickup location like it always has in the past. What is wrong with my app?

I had requested a Uber couple of days ago( the surge never drops so frustrated) and it said that my driver is completing his route and will be there in 6 min but the wheel kept spinning and it would not let any other driver us up, how is is possible that a driver accepts a pickup when he has not finished his dropoff yet. Then when you cancel they charge you for cancelling 🙁

The Uber map does not know where my destination is, or how to pick me up. The destination is a hospital that has been open for several years. Uber either sends the driver to a freeway, where it cheerfully announces, “You have arrived at your destination.” On the middle of the freeway, at a twenty-foot wall. Or it send the driver into an apartment complex to the north of the hospital. I’m tired of trying to “talk the driver in.” Fix the damned map!
A few weeks ago I moved to an apartment not far from my old apartment, and all of a sudden the service that has worked perfectly has become a total mess. My exact address comes up as the location, but so far three drivers have had trouble finding me; apparently they just drive around in circles until I give them the cross streets by phone. Is there anything I can do to help the situation?
Waze and Google maps hasn’t really perfected the directions in Metro Manila (and the whole Philippines in that matter). So just give more pickup details or call the driver directly.
The uber app is really pathetic in my Lumia N 530 phone.when I give the drop location it shows some other location or some pincode number.the address never come in the drop down list.but this never happen with OLA.I send a mail to the uber support,they said they are working on this issue,but it was never resolved.really very disappointed.

I have recently uploaded Drivers App on my new Galaxy s7 Edge, I am operating normal with every function however I can not see Uber Map option under Navigation.

I live in a residential estate and uber only allows me to enter one address (number and street) in the estate – I have tried putting it in manually but it just reverts to the one address – is there a way of adding an address so that I don’t have this problem every time?

it didnt work, lyft gets there using wave maps.
Keep having a problem where the app shows the driver is initially 1/2 mile away and 4 minutes from pickup – my home. After two minutes the driver is moving in the wrong direction and the app says the driver is now 8 minutes away. Why does this consistently happen? If I’d known it was going to be a 15 minute wait, I would not have agreed to ride. Tired of the extra wait time or being charged to cancel.

It’s been a month I have trouble ordering Uber on my trip back home from work or from other destination. I have no trouble requesting Uber from home to office or other destinations. The trouble begins when I request from office/other destination back to my home. Uber will say: There is no connection. The charge of the trip from my house to other destination does not show up, it shows on the driver’s phone. And he charges me much higher than the one I get when Uber is normal again after I reach my house. This is annoying. I have used Uber fir quite a long time, but I am getting more disappointed these days. What’s wrong here?
