After you’ve signed up as an Uber Partner, you now need to get TNVS Accreditation in accordance to the LTFRB Ridesharing Regulation. Don’t worry, Uber will be facilitating the whole thing so you don’t need to physically go to LTFRB and secure your CPC (Certificate of Public Convenience) Franchise.
Before we go to the process and requirements, let’s first answer some FAQs to get a clearer picture of the LTFRB Regulation and the incidental TNVS Accreditation. Also, you might want to read this article about what TNVS and LTFRB Accreditation really means for Uber Partners.

How to get TNVS Accredited?

- Professional Driver's License (of driver which you already uploaded when you signed up)
- If you are an Operator ONLY and doesn't want to drive, just upload the PRO Driver's License of your driver/s
- If you are a Partner and a driver as well, you also need to upload your PRO Driver's License.

TIP: You only need to execute this if you are the VEHICLE OWNER=TNVS Applicant but you are NOT the Registered Uber Partner. Halimbawa, pinahiram mo ang sasakyan sa kamag-anak mo na syang nagddrive o di kaya asawa mo ang Uber Partner pero ikaw ang mayari ng sasakyan o di kaya pina-manage mo sa kaibigan mo na Registered Uber Partner and sasakyan mo. Kung sayo naman nakapangalan ang sasakyan at ikaw din ang Registered Uber Partner, hindi mo ito kailangang ipasa.

TIP: In the vehicle details, for sales invoice, Chassis Number = Frame Number = Serial Number. Please do not input the MODEL NUMBER of the car. This is not UNIQUE and would VOID your entire application.

What about non-Filipino car owners living in the Philippines and is a local taxpayer? can they apply for LTFRB Accreditation? LTFRB's Official Response: It is explicit and absolute under Commonwealth Act No. 146 that an alien is not allowed to be given a franchise to operate a public land transportation service

These are the requirements you need to submit for CPC application. Uber encourages partners to submit CPC requirements within your first 30 days of operating .

REMEMBER: As per LTFRB, the Vehicle Owner = TNVS Applicant. This means that all the document requirements below SHOULD be under the name of the TNVS Applicant = VEHICLE OWNER.

TIPS:
- Notary fee is per document NOT per copy
- Sign and notarize three to four copies so you have enough copies.
- You may be asked to bring the originally signed and notarized copies of these documents upon pick-up of your Provisional Authority in Uber's office so make sure you have an original copy also.

Make sure that the proof shows at least Php 10,000 PER VEHICLE is present in the account. Example, if you have 2 vehicles in your application, your proof should show you have at least Php 20, 000 in the bank.
- Bank Certificate with Cash in bank of at least PHP 10,000 per vehicle (address to LTFRB), OR
- Bank Statement for the last two months, proof must show that the amount in bank is at least PhP 10,000.00 per vehicle, OR
- Passbook indicating transactions for last two months. Photocopy all pages with entries. Balance must be at least PhP 10,000.00 per vehicle.

- If you are an Operator and does not plan to drive, NO NEED include your Driver's license. Just include all the PRO driver's license of ALL your drivers.

- This expires very fast. Make sure to claim it right before submission to avoid any future problems.
- Expired PNP Clearances will not be processed.

8. DTI Certificate of Business Name Registration of Individual OR SEC

- Must indicate the trade name and applicant’s name
- Business name must be registered under the TNVS Applicant=VECHILE OWNER's name. *Hindi tatanggapin ang business na nakaregister sa iba (ex. sa asawa, sa kaibigan, o kamaganak)
- In selecting a business name, Uber recommends you to come up with a business name that is related to transportation. Disclaimer: Please also refrain from using the word “UBER” in your business name registration to avoid confusion. (ex. Juan Dela Cruz Transport)
- Kung may business name na, accepted ito kung nakapangalan sa TNVS Applicant=VEHICLE OWNER AT related sa transportation. *Hindi tatanggpain ang ibang uri ng negosyo na hindi related sa transport*
- The recommended scope to select for Business Name Registration is REGIONAL . TIN Number of the partner operator or partner driver will be used (as individuals). Partners are expected to shoulder the PHP 1,015.00 cost for Business Name registration (PHP 1,000.00 for registration and PHP 15.00 for Stamp Tax).
For Corporations: (For Corporations, you will be contacted as to how to submit the latter 3 requirements.)

- TIN ID is NOT accepted.
- You can also pass the following if you don't have Form 2303:
a) If Earning Purely Compensation Income: Form 1700
b) If Self-Employed: Form 1701
c) Other: Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source)
TIP: FOR OFWs and others who require BIR Form 2303, there are additional requirements that differ per BIR branch. Contact your chosen BIR branch for further details.

- As soon as you submit your complete documents, Uber will prepare your TNVS application for submission to the LTFRB. Uber will be updating you on the status of your application via SMS and/or email.

- Once your TNVS application is approved by LTFRB, Uber will schedule the release of your Provisional Authority (PA) together with your trade dress. PA is valid for 45 days and renewable up to 135 days.
- Once your CPC has been approved, Uber will schedule the release of your CPC. CPC is valid for one year and renewable up to 7 years.
