Before we used our Sony M2, Uber issued us Ipad Mini which worked very well. No errors at all, the apps do not even lag (except for when there’s no network connection). And the Uber Driver App and Waze works efficiently; we think these apps are highly stable and optimized for the iOS platform. So if money is not an object, we suggest you go for any iOS device for your Uber Device. Anyway, this is an investment on your business. All else fails, iOS devices takes some time before they go down in value, so you can still sell them at a very good price.

I tried to use my samsung galaxy mega with 8gb internal memory but it’s just hang up and I could not go online at uber app eversince. If you’re suggesting from the gadget above with the same feature of mine, would it be possible that I could no longer experience uber app signal problems? For now I’m using my lenovo yoga tab8 with 16gb internal memory and still experiencing technical issues with uber app. This happens everyday when i accepted riders request and could not locate their pick-up point and just waited for riders text or call. It takes several minutes or more than 1 hour to determine my exact location also even my internet signal is excellent.
You might be having problem with Samsung Galaxy Mega because it’s just dual core. Ideally, if you’re using Android, better quad core.

We are using Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Polaroid cellphone. Why is it that when using the waze app, it shows (on the top of the screen). “No GPS”. That’s why it is hard to find the exact location of the riders becasue of this GPS issue. What suppose to be the problem?
Sometimes its the network connection. Make sure also that your GPS at least is A-GPS or Glonass.

Amazingly there is no Asus Zenfone Max or Zenfone 5 (both are running 2gig RAM 16gig Internal) on the list they are the most reliable Android phones for Uber at price range of 6-8k

I started using Globe but it seems it’s not good for Uber use. I tried smart big bytes, and it’s working well. It never let me down. I still have globe as back up just in case something goes wrong with smart.

Since i am new, i have successfully completed over 30 Trips.
i have had issues as below;
1. Sometimes when i get trip request and my phone would start beeping. I would touch my screen to accept the trip but it would not accept it and after the countdown is over app would give me error saying “there is an error”. How to deal with it?
